I have "separate" notification panel instead of "combined". And as I mentioned above, set function "Always expanded notifications" in Xposed's module called "Miui 8 tweaks". I was pleasantly surprised to see "quick answer" in there.

For me on 9.5.3.0 MiuiPro based ROM quick reply is working fine. I've made "always expand notification" in Xposed module Miui Tweaks. Maybe is there the trick?

You can use Xposed module App Locale 2 to force applications to switch to the language you want. Try it.

miui.pro - based on China version ROM with translations (but not so much languages included) and really lot of extra functionality. xiaomi.eu - based on China version ROM with lot of translations, but no extra functions - only base ones. miui.am - similar to xiaomi.eu, but from different source...
