How version you is using? miui.eu v8.1.25 is OK.

Some time ago I have made mod for miui.am 8.2.22. It's very stable rom and smooth.
Here's a list of features:
  • Folder auto closes after you launch an app from it
  • Smart net
  • Advanced power menu
  • Longpres volume button to control the music
  • Now the disabled buttons can be enabled by tapping the notification. No longer can it be enabled by double tapping the buttons itself.
  • Vibro on unclocking by fingerprint
  • Controll media volume by default
  • DND mode fix for some notification
  • Possibility to unlock by fingerprint on first unlock after boot
  • MTP by default when connect to PC
  • Clock centered (replace status_bar_simple.xml from original MiuiSystemUI.apk / res / layout to revert center clock. Do not just replace the whole apk cause smartnet will not work then)
  • Lockscreen clock is centered and a bit changed (see pic. The white or black clock is depended on the background) (replace miuikeyguard.apk to go back to the stock view.)
  • Possibility to change auto clolor detection for lockscreen elements
  • Full screen photo on call. Better quality. Square pic.
  • Settings to ignore data usage for separate apps
  • Added button in music player notification for previous track
